To add to Kim Farley's list of sites for PBBs in the ACT (recent Canberra Bird Notes article), I saw one today at 1.30pm at Callum Brae. It was actually 20 meters inside the Callum Brae property, sitting on a fence post, but seen from within
the reserve, the far south-east corner.
Also, when I got to Jerrambomberra Grasslands reserve and began to walk across it I noted a dragonfly hawking (amazing season!). A few seconds later a Hobby shot past, presumably hunting for dragonflies (though it didn't get the one I was watching).
