Yesterday (Tuesday) there was a flock of about 20 Superb Parrots feeding in the canopy of the ironbarks at the Wanniassa shops (Sangster place). I now have Rainbow Lorikeets in my Kambah home GBS area every day. Yesterday I counted a flock of them flying out of a group of trees at about 40 of them. That is the biggest number for here. On Sunday I saw 2 Musk Lorikeets fly out from the same trees, over my home. I think that is a first record of that species at my home. All three observations would not have occurred many years ago.
