On the Lyrebird trail yesterday, I saw one and heard at least two other lyrebirds.
The last one heard, after its usual calls, went on to mimic a kookaburra's laugh (aborted mimic), followed by that of a raven and then a currawong and then a rufous whistler ending with its own babble. Delightful.
