Speaking of IDing, the below snap indicates just a few of the birds in the Forbidden Ponds early last Monday. It was taken with the camera resting on the box that used to contain the Visitor Welcome Book. Incredibly, the box is still there, but a place should be found for it in the Heritage Museum before something else happens to it.
