The trial of seaplanes landing on Lake Burley Griffin will continue on Saturday and Sunday, this weekend. Attached is the program for the trials fyi. I do hope that as many of you as possible can witness these trials to gain first hand knowledge of their likely impact on lake users and the wildlife.

Good morning Lake Users

 

As you are aware, the Seaplane trial is underway and Southcoast Seaplanes will arrive this Saturday to commence trials until Sunday.

 

Please refer to the attached draft running sheet for your information.

 

1 representative from your lake user group may register to participate in a short Seaplane trial flight.

 

Please note that seating is very limited. If you are interested, can you please provide:

 

• Passenger name
• Organisation/Lake User Group
• Preferred flight:
• Saturday 18/3/23 afternoon (~2.30pm and ~4.00pm) (arrive ahead of time) or
• Sunday 19/3/23 afternoon (~12.00pm and ~1.30pm) (arrive ahead of time)
