Does it count as a twitch if you walk five doors from home to see the White- fronted Honeyeater? That was easy, although I did have to wait whilst it made its rounds of the other bushes that it liked to visit in the neighbourhood.
The Asian Dowitcher in Newcastle was very easy. I haven’t seen reports of it since though. There was a raptor about, which aided our search by putting the birds up and shifting their position when they resettled. Perhaps it was its next meal?

The easiest was a Painted Snipe at Kellys some years ago, when I walked across to a set up scope, peered through it, and got the tick. Today, I had to set up the scope myself.
