A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that my two resident pairs of Superb
Fairy-wrens had been unsuccessful in a couple of breeding attempts so far this
season. I noted that one female was carrying food.
I was very pleased to find that both pairs have raised a couple of young each!
Both families are in the yard together a couple of times a day, with the two
females chasing each other quite a lot.
The family of four scrubbies just watches with mild amusement!
