First of all again many thanks to members who have offered to talk at our annual Members’ Night.

I still have a few spots to fill, so if you have been wondering about something you may have in mind, I would be very grateful if you could please contact me?

This could be a simple “Show and tell” taking limited preparation which I propose to hold at the start of the meeting.

Once again many thanks for your kind consideration.

As advertised in the December issue of Gang-gang I am looking for speakers of the upcoming COG Members’ Night to be held in the St James Uniting Church Hall, off Gillies St, Curtin from 7:30 pm on Wednesday 11 January.

A program is being drawn up allowing COG members to contribute short presentations (about 10-15 minutes long) on a range of bird related topics.  So if you have a favourite birding moment for 2022 (such as the Pacific Baza, Blue-faced Honeyeater breeding event, or Turquoise Parrot) some special photos to share with members, a birding story to tell, or anything that you think might be of interest to other members, please contact me by return e-mail.

Members who have not presented to COG before are especially encouraged.

Many thanks for your kind consideration.  I would be more than happy to discuss any possibility with you.

Jack Holland
