The weekend’s forecast hasn’t changed from wet, but Sunday now has less rainfall predicted. Pick your moment to go blitzing, go prepared, and take care. Make sure someone knows where you are going and when you will be back.

Roads throughout Namadgi have generally been closed, apart from the main through roads. For anyone travelling south of Tharwa, I have been advised that the Sheep Station Creek can rise very quickly to cover the road, so be aware of where rain has fallen, and if in doubt err on the safe side.

There are still plenty of sites within Canberra which have not been adopted, including ANBG!! If you just want to duck out for an hour of fresh air and birds, have a look at the list of sites Blitz-sites-adopted-2022-V1.pdf (canberrabirds.org.au) and find something close to you.

Share your highlights so that we can all enjoy a good sighting.

Cheers
