The Glossy’s were present again this evening, and put on quite a show.
Initially keeping to themselves in nearby branches, another smaller bird landed beside one of them, possibly a Noisy Miner. The Glossy promptly gave it a strong call and peck and sent it on its way.
The Glossy’s then relocated to a more exposed gun tree remnant and preened one another for about 3-5 minutes.
Finally they moved toward a nearby water source lower down the Mountain where Noisy Miners too exception to their presence and prompted them back to the higher bush.
A breeding pair perhaps? Sure get a good feeling.
Cheers,
Adam
