I used to see a male GG around our place that looked like that. I thought it was old age, because it didn't seem to be ill, and didn't have the symptoms of Beak and Feather Disease.

cheers

Good morning

We have had Gang-gangs visit us in Holder for many years, sometimes in good numbers, sometimes just a pair or two.

There is one pair who I think has come every year as they call us, and come down out of the big tree in our back yard if I call them.

We haven’t had any for a few months, but the pair came back this morning.

The mail has lost feathers around his eyes as in the attached image.

Is this simply old age or something else?

Thank you

Charmian Lawson
