Dear COG members You have been magnificent in continuing to support our efforts to keep Bluetts Block for current and future generations through visits and submissions to the ACT Government! But we are not done yet! Please send positive thoughts to Dr Paterson and the Legislative Assembly to inspire hopeful response to our Petition (which was created by the ACT Conservation Council.) The Bluetts Block-Piney Ridge petition will be tabled in the Legislative Assembly by Marisa Paterson MLA next Tuesday 2nd August soon after 10 am, and Marisa will give a short speech. You can watch online here - ACT Legislative Assembly On Demand and the petition will be sent to an Assembly Committee and the Minister to respond. The Committee may also choose to hold public hearings on the Petition. #westernedge #protectbluetts #naturecorridors Also with thanks to all COG Members who also continue to visit and enjoy the birds of Bluetts Block!
