I think you’re correct Shorty. Quick look at the field guides suggests plumage is juvenile.

Looks like an immature Brown Goshawk, Ann. Broad wings indicate that its not a falcon.

I was out at Campbell Park, thank you to all, we had no problem parking!

Is this fellow a Black Falcon?   Very high, cruising around but did not stay long or come very low!
