If you park in the overflow car park and stay away from the building you should be fine. You can't even see the building from the overflow car park. The security people shouldn't be able to demand that anyone hand over their cameras. If all else fails, I'd ask them to call the AFP.

We were accosted by Defence security once several years ago and they wanted to take our cameras. They were eventually convinced we were birders and backed down but they were certainly not friendly.

Ann that sign has been up for at least 5 years, but I’ve never seen or heard of anyone being approached by Defence security etc.  This includes when leading the annual November Nest Workshops with up to 30 participants.  Regards  Jack Holland

A friend just went out to there to take a few photos & it says trespassers  will be prosecuted, area is closed with barriers.  Is this permanent or would it just be an Army exercise?  Does anyone know please?
