My apologies, I missed that the size was mentioned in the 2nd message. As I saw that there was now a photo, I stopped reading and looked at the photo. At about
8cm (across the top presumably), that would eliminate the suggested Blackbird & Noisy Friarbird.

Really difficult without an idea of size. Assuming something common. If very small, I think it fits Silvereye. If medium I think it fits Blackbird. If a bit bigger than that, Noisy Friarbird is a fair option.
