Hi Margaret and the Canberra birds team,
My name is a Kirsty and I am the host of a new and upcoming podcast
called the 'Weekend Birder'.
When I started bird watching, I was lucky to be mentored by my wonderful
parents. Now I've got some friends hooked and I am mentoring them. I'm
creating the Weekend Birder podcast because not everyone has a
birdwatching mentor.
This podcast launches in Spring. It is for people aged 12+ who love wild
birds, are birdwatching-curious, who have just started out on their
birding adventures, or are a 'casual birder' - someone who enjoys
birding on their weekends or holidays.
Would you like to be a guest on the podcast? I'm based in Melbourne and
am coming to Canberra in late July. We could do a face-to-face interview
if you're free.
