I took a walk from Denman Prospect Village shops this morning across Holborow Avenue Bridge and up the winding track and along the outer edge of the Denman Prospect Construction site and then into the back section of Bluetts Block.
The uphill track is roughly graded and would be muddy after rain – it is also narrow in one place, but passable. However I enjoyed a pleasant walk from the back gate of Bluetts Block through long grass and down towards the Molonglo River. Visibility for small birds was poor and graders were working noisily. At the point where the creek curves around towards the Molonglo I enjoyed watching a small feeding flock consisting Superb Fairy Wrens, Red Browed Finch and Brown Thornbills. Jean
