From my memory of Blundells Creek Rd the quagmire Sue describes is where an ephemeral creek flows across the road in wet times. Looking at recent rainfall for Mt Ginini I 'd say it will
be months rather than weeks before it dries out.
BTW: as far as my sightings in this area go, Cicadabird does not exist.
