A Pallid Cuckoo at Campbell Park this morning, too, along the fence line just south of our famous kingfisher.

My first record of a pallid cuckoo this season was on 2 September along the northern edge of Mulligans Flat reserve. A bird has been heard most days since. This morning a second bird was calling along the northern edge of Bonner.
Fan-tailed and Shining Bronze-cuckoos have also been present over the past month.

On Wednesday 6th October a Pallid Cuckoo was sighted and heard as it moved north through the NW edge of the wooded paddock. Approximately 12.30.

Today, Friday 8th October at 16.25 we came across at least 3 Gang Gang Cockatoos moving through the Sclerophyll woodland parallel to the western end of Hoskins Street,Hall.
They were very relaxed, calling and seemed to be visiting trees as they moved through at a distance. There are many hollows in the eucalypts but also no shortage of Rosellas and over-flying SC cockatoos.
