I've had the pleasure of watching Satin Bower birds feeding in trees in our garden and neighbouring houses last week and especially over the weekend. Numbers range from 3 to well over 12, I think up to 20 today for a while.  They've been chased on the odd occasion, that I've observed, by wattle birds, magpies and currawongs.

I suspect I saw a mature male but can't confirm as I only caught a glimpse.

When weather was sunny last week, the garden was full of their sound, whirring, buzzing, and etc

This in Fisher, one house row back from  Kambalda Cres, (near where bike path  runs along Tugg parkway.)
