Same here.
Pair of MLs constantly flying to a high branch but obscured, so I have not yet spotted the nest. But this morning, the pair were having a chat over coffee (or the ornithological
equivalent) and the male had grass in his bill, so I imagine that they are at the nest lining stage.
The pair at the other end of the street (who had two male offspring last season) do a lot of mutual foraging and duetting but I have not yet seen any nesting activity. Interesting
story about last year’s clutch. The family of four was seen almost daily in a patch not far from the nest site over some months, and only quite recently seem to have broken up with the youngsters (I deduce) moving off and the oldies preparing for the next
batch.
