Interesting suggestion from Darryl. It does make the links in a chain of thoughts that maybe makes the links stronger than they actually are. But it would be
curious to know if it turns out to be true. I did not know that: “The density of magpies in Canberra is higher than anywhere else [in Australia]”, but it is easy to believe that is correct. It is our most stable species in terms of minimal variation of population
over time. A bit of information that I was sad that HANZAB did not include.
Since the lockdown I notice many more people than usual out walking (often with dogs), at least around Kambah.
