Managed a distant pic of one of the birds in Red Hill Nature Reserve, most were too deep in the foliage for clear shots:

Yesterday approx 15 - 20 birds flew over my house in Holder. I heard a couple of “chip chip” calls so I’m thinking they were yellow faced honeyeaters. They were travelling west to east which I thought was a bit strange as they’re usually doing the opposite at this time of the year.

Hi all,

We saw a large group of White-naped Honeyeaters noisily feeding in the eucalyptus foliage in Red Hill Nature Reserve this morning. In the area just north of Hughes near the powerline. Presumably on their way back to the mountains.
