On ABC news breakfast this morning there was an item about a (presumably nationwide) citizen science survey about tracking owls. I missed it. The trailer showed a Barking & a Rufous Owl. I wonder how good the ID skills of Joe Public are with owls but I guess the survey takes that into account. There isn’t much new about having Boobooks in north Canberra but this person might find it fun to check out that survey and put in the observation.
