I noticed, Sunday before last while walking around Parliament House, that the grevilleas in the middle of the forecourt water feature, where silver gulls were roosting and nesting last year, had been covered over by netting. I was pleased to see, on my walk this Sunday, that the gulls were giving the finger to this decision. Parliamentary Services should be more concerned about the behaviour of the creatures inside the building than those outside. Nick Payne Attachment:
