After a quietish stroll around the Jerra Billabong I peered into the poo pits (following advice by a birder I met) to look for Pink-eared Ducks. I was able to count 103 of them in the
pond currently visible from the road.
I say "currently" as ICON seem to have realised that people are still able to see into the ponds and have planted a whole heap of trees that will soon stop that! No sign of them building the
lookout which they promised when they kicked us out.
