Superb Parrots in Hughes area

That's interesting John. I just had a quick look at eBird and Superbs are reported in all months of the year across Canberra. But they certainly have been reported less often on the south side than the north in the past. Maybe you can break your own record and see them right into winter this year!

Last month I confidently predicted that the first frost had driven the SPs away from the Hughes area. Then I noticed that a few groups had remained (though they all seemed to be males), largest group I have seen since early April was 6.

I wonder if the frosts predicted for the weekend will have the effect I thought they would last month.
