Below a report sent to webmaster of two Scarlet Honeyeaters at Burra in the last few days.  Neither eBird nor the COG bird info page http://canberrabirds.org.au/wp-content/bird_data/586_Scarlet%20Honeyeater.html (then Distribution Map tab / all years) show them in the Burra area before.  This is only a dozen kilometres from the recent sighting at Apollo/Naas roads.

Bonjour webmaster.  Photo of male scarlet honeyeater attached, as per cog form submitted today.

 

Ours is not exactly suburban (though becoming more that way).  We are at Badgery Road, Burra, i.e. down in the valley but more forested than most valley blocks, as we planted 4.600 narive hardwood trees in 2017..  The birds (male and female) were in the house yard.  Sorry, I don't have the GPS coordinates.
