I’ve just returned from Batemans Bay where I saw a Figbird. After all the years 
of visiting the “Bay” this is a first. I had a look around the wetland & the 
only unusual sighting was, I think, a Muscovy/Blackduck hybrid. I assumed this 
because the head was Pacific Blackduck & the body was large & bulcky with 
familiar Muscovy colouring.
