Very well done.

Is this now the only nesting site for these species in the ACT?  If so, does it have any protected status?

This morning, Sandra, Pru, Ryu, Lia, Teo and Jean birded both sides of the river from the RSPCA to the river crossing and returned on the western side of the river. This time there were more nests (31), more nest locations (9) , and lots (118) of Darters and Cormorants perched at nests and plying their way up and down the river.

Darters - 7 nests. 42 birds counted.

Little Pied Cormorant – 8 nests. 42 birds counted.

Great Cormorant 8 nests. 16 birds counted.

Little Black Cormorant – 8 nests. 18 birds counted.

A total of 43 species were seen during the extended walk recorded on EBird.
