I regularly feed magpies and "our" currawong.  These days they do not come often.  Are they feeding on cicadas?  Anyway our currawong made a rare visit and I gave her a piece of dogs' meat balls. She did not eat it immediately and hid between dense leaves of a bottle brush tree.  When I came back from a walk and went to check it was gone. I did not know currawongs cache foods?
