I got to the junction of Bendora Road and Wark's Road at 7.30 this morning and started to walk north. I was surprised by how many Lyrebirds were practising quite close to the road (say 6 or 7 in 3 or so kms). Perhaps the cool snap and the gloomy conditions reminded them of autumn/winter.

By 8.30 when I was walking back they had stopped.

Had good views of a male Cicadabird right back where I started from. I only get good views of this sp every few years.
