I will be reviving the Bird-A-Day (BAD) challenge for 2021, formerly run by Trey Mitchell. 
You may recall Martin Butterfield took this challenge quite seriously and would often update the chatline on his progress. Other COG members including myself have also been involved in the past.

Put simply, the objective is to see a different bird for every day of the year, or for as many days as you can starting Jan 1. 
I've only made it until around March when I've attempted it in the past, but it is enjoyable nonetheless.
Further details on BAD in the links below. Feel free to share with your friends to set up some friendly local competition because that makes it much more enjoyable 😀
