Subject: | Red Wattlebird attacks and kills a Sparrow |

I watched in amazement as a Red Wattlebird chased held and chased again, then killed either a Sparrow or Silvereye. Unfortunately they both disappeared from sight behind a barrier on the roof of the house opposite. After about 1 minute the RWB reappeared and flew up to the tree nearby. The small bird did not come out. I Doubt the Wattlebird was after a feed. Unless like the Butcherbird it was parking the carcase until later. Jean
