Hello members/subscribers, with the ACT government relaxing the 4 sq m person rule to 2 sq m from 3 December, I’m very hopeful this meeting advertised both in the December Gang-gang and the COG web site will now be able to go ahead with up to 72 participants rather than the much more restrictive maximum of 36 attendees.

While this is still subject to the use of the ‘Check in Canberra’ App, and the St James Hall Curtin approving our draft COVID Safe Plan, I can now make a call for presenters with some more confidence.

So if you have anything that you think would be of interest to fellow COG members, please contact me?

To assist I have repeated below the relevant part of the published ad.

Jack Holland

The program

A program will be drawn up allowing COG members to contribute short presentations (about 10-15 minutes long) on a range of bird related topics.

So if you have a favourite birding moment for 2020, some special photos to share with members, a birding story to tell, or anything that you think might be of interest to other members, please:

Contact Jack Holland by E-mail on m("bigpond.com","jandaholland");">) as soon as possible.

Members who have not presented to COG before are especially encouraged.
