Tuggeranong Hill was surveyed today, 28 November.  The morning started out warm and grew to very warm by the end of the surveys.  Birds were thinly dispersed across the Hill, with 9 being the maximum number of species at any one site.  Breeding records were:  Australian Magpie and Pied Currawong feeding young; Galah and Rainbow Lorikeets sitting by hollows and a pair of Leaden Flycatchers building a nest.  A Nankeen Kestrel was observed again, but on sub-site 4 today.  Twenty-four species were observed during the surveys, and an additional 10 between sub-sites.
