Folks Went for a walk up Ashbrook Fire trial this morning starting at the Hanging Rock track head, looking mainly for things other than birds. Was alerted to a call of a different bird than what I normally hear there, a Cicadabird, quite close, had a quick look at it up in the canopy, it was dark, probably a male, too quick for any photos and way up (pity). Have put it on ebird. David -- This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
