A slow drive with a couple of stops along Lake Rd yesterday afternoon
yielded only a few species (21in total) and very few birds generally -
perhaps due to a quite  strong breeze blowing up against the escarpment.

A number of "regulars" were not seen at all.  The ephemeral lagoon had a
few Black Duck and Masked Lapwings. No sign of Snipe though.

Of most interest were several Rufuous Whistlers, Speckled Warbler, White
Eared Honeyeater and a Sacred Kingfisher (a new addition to my list for
this drive).

There was no sign of Plumed Whistling - Ducks in Bungendore but
Shelducks were seen at the sewage works (with ducklings).
