Yellow-faced Honeyeaters suddenly arrived here at Harold’s Cross last Tuesday.
I don’t know how many but their calls were suddenly all around us, almost
drowning out the loud New Holland HEs, Golden Whistlers, GSTs, Pardelots
(both), and White-throated Treecreepers. A small flock of White-naped HEs has
overwintered here, feeding in the ribbon gums. A Fan-tailed Cuckoo was calling
last week.
