Greetings. Further to my email a fortnight ago, I am aware that a number of the list’s subscribers are still receiving advice that ‘Your membership in the mailing list CanberraBirds has been disabled due to excessive bounces’. I wish to
emphasise that these emails are genuine (not spam) and that the problem is not at your end, there is nothing you can do to fix it. The problem lies entirely with the internet services hosting company that COG is using.
If you receive one of these subscription disabled emails, please follow the instructions in the email to re-enable your subscription.
We have identified the source of the problem and COG’s Committee of Management is currently considering a proposal to get the list back onto an even keel. I will let you know how this will be done as soon as the details are clarified. If
you wish to discuss this, please contact me directly, rather than via the CanberraBirds list.
