Some highlights from today birding just to the north of the ACT with 2 Rainbow Lorikeets at Binalong; Black-winged Stilts at numerous locations including 30 in a flooded field at Gooramma; 4 Pacific Herons, Superb Parrots and many waterbirds
at Regans Lagoon; a Shelduck by a farm dam near Young; Brown Treecreepers at Douglas Range; 3 Whistling Kites near Conroys Gap; Wonga Pigeon and Crescent Honeyeaters calling and a confiding Spotted Quail-thrush on the Burrinjuck Road (all 3 species at limit
of range).
