I am getting a good lot of requests to join next Wednesday's walk but so far few from the usual attendees.  Could I remind anyone planning to attend that we do need pre-registration by reply to this message to: 
  1. avoid N (where N is a large number) people sharing a pencil (arguably no different to sharing a cigarette lighter); and
  2. allow planning routes if we need to split the group due to a large number of participants.
