Like Richard, my first impression was Blue-faced Honeyeater. I have asked Daniel for the location and a description of size.

Possibly blue faced honeyeater. Was it wattlebird sized. Where were you?

Hi, everyone,

I saw a strange bird this morning. I only saw it for a few seconds but it flew away over the canopy. I took two shots, and I looked at my field guide, but no answers. Can anyone help?

Now go into the First link and Second link for the two photos.
