We have found a new choughs’ nest, under construction in Campbell.  I think it is the same group of choughs who raised two young in a nest near the Vietnam War Memorial in Anzac Parade last year.  There were ten birds there yesterday afternoon.

 

Here is where to find it:  Anzac Park East, west side, No Stopping sign just south of the Page St sign (the one with Roadworks Ahead sign currently leaning on it).

Stand about 5 metres south of the sign, look directly up, the nest is on a eucalypt branch leaning out over the road.
