Pied Currawong with unusual booty

At 11:00 today while driving along Spofforth Street, Holt, just across from the golf course, I noticed a Pied Currawong schlepping along about four metres above the road. As there was no traffic about I slowed down and drew left to see what was impeding its progress. After a few seconds the penny dropped or, put more literally, the golf ball did and the bird accelerated up and away.

I can’t remember seeing or hearing of a Pied Currawong taking a golf ball before.
