By  the river @ Pt Hut:

quiet walking for  c. 10 mins in a ntherly direction from the little footbridge @ Pt Hut brought me to exquisite mixed feeding flock ; there were 2 different small rock formations on the right of the path & I sat on each, in turn, for c. 1 hour between c.1.30 & c. 2.30 during which in vicinity of a sort of open grassy `lawn’  saw 7 species flittering about:

sup.  fairy wren

scarlet robin , m & f

flame robin, m

yellow-rumped th’bills

grey fantails

pair white-eared h’eaters

1 (left behind?) yellow-faced h’eater.

Ah well, luck follows the good player!

(hope this is decipherable, have been out all day & v tired)
