When we first moved here in Garran, 1966, we used to get rose robins also; also regent h’eaters; @ that time the suburb was v recently pastoral land.

the regent honeyeaters caused me to join COG, on friend Alastair Morrison’s rec., as he’d became v excited re the latter visitor & took the ob. to the rarities panel , I believe

First ever or first for the year? When I moved into my current house in 1985, for years Rose Robins (actually usually only one at a time) were a sort of regular visitor here in winter months. I don’t have the GBS records any more but I think there hasn’t been any for at least 10 or 15 years. Similar comment for Crescent Honeyeater.
