Hi harvey, all,

I suspected it was a Tawny Frogmouth but hoped it might be an owl.  It was quite light grey. Still a lovely creature and hung about for quite a while.

Hi Merarth

If it was light grey, it was quite possibly a Tawny Frogmouth rather than an owl - had you considered that?

Subject: [canberrabirds] Owl in Fisher

Hi all,

I saw an owl a couple of nights ago in Fisher on the bike-path that runs parallel to Tuggeranong Parkway at around 7.30pm.  It was light grey.  What type of owl is this likely to be?

Thank you

Merarth
