Driving out of Jerrabomberra yesterday we had to pause and allow a pair of Wood Ducks with 10 youngsters following to cross the road.

More autumn ducklings: At the dam near the top of Clancy’s Walking Track (Mt Majura Reserve, off Antill St, Watson) this afternoon, a glimpse of a pair of Wood Duck, with a flock more than 6 (no binoculars) very young (less than a week?)
ducklings which scurried away from the dam.
Just above the dam, 5 or more Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos flew into and between trees before heading off.
