I received it. I also received it via a LA County email chat line in USA.  I did the survey. It is simple. There is nothing looking suspicious in doing the survey. It doesn’t ask anything odd. It is a bit strange. The problem is new. Impact on our birdwatching is probably only in the last 2 weeks. Most people are not infected and some that are will survive. Of course we all or most of us could be dead within 3 months, so by then the impact on our birdwatching will be significant.

I can't confirm the message is kosher but he exists at that Uni and my anti-virus software didn't have a cow with it.  So I completed the very simple survey.

I am assuming everyone received this. Can anyone confirm that it is legitimate of is it another scam?

Dear fellow birdwatchers,
Corona has changed our lives and we want to study its influence on birdwatching activities in different countries. Please help us and answer a few simple questions. The questionnaire is in seven different languages and takes 2 (two) minutes. The study is run by Piotr Tryjanowski (University of Poznan) and Christoph Randler (University of Tuebingen).
Stay healthy,
Christoph & Piotr
